The consumption of companion animal's meat has been banned only in few cities, in Shenzhen and Zhuhai. It's confusing. You can legally eat your own dog, as long as you don't trade with its meat! That's the way I understand it. The real solution to end this cruel trade would be to ban the consumption of dog and cat meat. These dogs were rescued on 1st of December
