It’s Census Day for our local Legless Lizards. 🦎 Striped Legless Lizards (or ‘Stripies’ to their mates) are well-suited to living limbless. Without legs, they can easily weave through grasslands to hunt insects or escape predators. 🌾 Unfortunately, around 99% of their grassland habitat has been cleared across South-Eastern Australia. 😔 But it’s not all gloomy news!
