A couple tips for patching drywall. - Don’t be afraid to get a big knife and float the patch out. - Bubbles happen - the moisture in the mud can’t go into the drywall so it comes out the front. Just keep layering compound until they stop. Sometimes it takes a couple coats. - Try and keep the patch as flat as you can! Sometimes that means coating from multiple directions.
