The massive MRL Iron Ore trains that slipped through the southern suburbs of Perth almost unnoticed I imagine loaded with 1000's of tonnes to be delivered at Kwinana from the mines at Koolyanobbing. This scene was in 2021 at Wattleup, but soon after the trains were redirected to Esperance with the last train running at the beginning of 2025. In 1960, the WA government and mining giant BHP reached an agreement on the establishment of an integrated iron and steel works at Kwinana, south of Perth.
