Attorney General Catherine Hanaway said Tuesday that China, in its own country, is suing Missouri in the wake of a $24 billion American court judgment the state obtained in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. Hanaway said her office received notice last week of a suit filed in the Intermediate People's Court of Wuhan that declared Missouri to be an economic and reputational threat to China.
