This weekend marks 5 years since Jack Lowe embarked upon The Lifeboat Station Project, an epic journey to photograph all 238 of our stations. Travelling all over the UK and Ireland in ‘Neena’ – an ambulance turned darkroom – with his 115-year-old camera, the photographs are printed on glass using a Victorian photographic technique. If you are in Dorset in the coming weeks, come and visit the RNLI College in Poole, where several of the photographs are on display. | RNLI
