This stingless bee hive was cut into 3 parts, reducing how much space the bees had to live. This species, Tetragonula carbonaria (TC) like 5-7L of space... the cavity in the log was very, very small! Maybe 2L at best! I split the log open, which also had ants living in there, and moved the bees into a purpose made stingless bee hive. Theyre rebuilding and thriving already!
