We’re continuing to make some chips with our new KBC milling machine. This time I’m using a new @waltertools 1/2” carbide end mill with the ER40 collet chuck and I’m milling a t-nut to fit a Southbend lathe compound for a toolpost. Abby back on the KBC mill drilling 5/16-18 tap size holes. This was a successful first run at manual machining for her and it all went great! We’ll continue teaching her the basics and getting her more familiar with the tools and machines. She was using CRC Industries Cutting Oil and Greenfield Industries Chicago-Latrobe jobber drills, the same drills that will come in our upcoming Abom79 drill indexes (being machined in the background) Machine is the TUM-40VS knee mill from KBC Tools & Machiner
