Tropical Storm Warning Issued for Guam As of 11 o'clock this morning Guam was placed under a Tropical Storm Warning by the National Weather Service. This means that damaging winds of 39 miles per hour or more are likely within 24 hours. A Tropical Storm Warning also remains in effect for Rota, Tinian and Saipan. Additionally, Tinian and Saipan remain under a Typhoon Watch. According to the NWS Tropical Storm Goni is steadily moving toward the Marianas. As of 11am it was located about 170 miles e
